Aangan — Terms of Service

1. What Aangan is

Aangan is a household-management app for staff attendance and salary, daily deliveries, bills, expenses, documents and related tools. Household data lives on your device and, when available, is privately synced through your own Apple iCloud account. Kunba does not operate a household-data backend for version 1.4.

2. Acceptance

By using Aangan you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app. Material changes will be reflected by the date above and, where appropriate, an in-app or release-note notice.

3. Your records and responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of records you enter. Calculations and slips are aids, not legal, tax, employment or accounting advice.
• Recording a cash, card or UPI payment in Aangan does not move money.
• Invited home participants can access data according to their role. Invite only people you trust.
• You are responsible for having authority to store or share another person's documents and information.
• Exports and hand-offs are governed by the receiving app or service after you initiate them.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Aangan to break the law, harass someone, submit or share another person's documents without authority, interfere with the service, or attempt to access another person's iCloud data.

5. Availability and backups

Aangan is provided “as is” and “as available.” Features that depend on iCloud, notifications, Calendar, Face ID, installed UPI apps or third-party websites depend on those services and device settings. Keep appropriate backups and independently verify important financial or employment records.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kunba is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, disputes between household members, staff or vendors, or decisions made solely from Aangan's calculations or records. Nothing limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.

7. Ending use

You may stop using Aangan at any time. In-app deletion and device-erasure controls are described in the Privacy Policy. Deleting the app removes its local container but may not delete data already in iCloud or files exported elsewhere.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to any mandatory rights that apply where you live.
