These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Tattvam mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Tattvam is an educational app for exploring ancient Indian philosophy through layered content, quizzes, journaling, and gamified progress. The App is provided for personal, non-commercial, informational, and educational purposes only. Content is presented for learning and reflection and is not religious, spiritual, medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.

The App lets you optionally share written reflections with the community. By choosing to share a reflection, you represent and agree that:
Shared reflections are displayed to other users anonymously — your identity is not exposed. You may withdraw a shared reflection at any time, which removes it from public display. We may remove any shared content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, without notice. We do not endorse and are not responsible for user-generated content.
The App's design, software, original written content, selection, annotation,
and arrangement are owned by Ateeshay Jain or used under applicable licences
and are protected by copyright and other laws. Third-party source texts and
translations remain the property of their respective rights holders or may be
in the public domain; their status varies by work and jurisdiction. See the
repository LICENSE and third-party notices. We grant you a
limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the
App for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.
The App relies on third-party services including Supabase (hosting/auth) and Apple (sign-in). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT CONTENT IS ACCURATE OR COMPLETE. YOU USE THE APP AT YOUR OWN RISK.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (WHICH MAY BE ZERO) OR (B) INR 1,000. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the App, your user-generated content, or your violation of these Terms or any law.
You may stop using the App at any time and may delete your account directly in the App (Profile → Account → Delete Account) or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g. IP, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, governing law) survive termination.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, an in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Subject to applicable law, the courts at New Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms or the App.
